TEAMWORK IN ACTION: LET’S VOLT IN!

After Sitio Lucia, Bulacan, this year’s destination for the annual College Team Building was The Forest Club at Bay, Laguna. On August 2-3, the CSC, CYO, COR, and NMO officers, and the CBA faculty and staff travelled to this destination for an experience like no other.

Invited speaker, Ms. Mary Rechelle A. Guzman, a human resource management practitioner and Directress at Mary the Queen College Pampanga, gave a seminar-funshop expounding on this year’s theme OPERATION SYNERGY: Let’s Volt In! (Achieving Organizational Objectives through Team Development).

After the technical session, the participants were exposed to simple team building games like caterpillar race and dolphin relay and the one-of-a-kind survival course found only in The Forest Club – a ten-foot high forest canopy walk, ten-meter mud crawl, Ifugao bridge, rope bridge, hanging bridge, and bamboo rafting.

A fireworks display was enjoyed during the night, before the start of the cultural presentations, where the CSC made their 2nd performance of the song “What I’ve Been Looking For.”

CSC @ 1ST USLC

Replacing the traditional 1st leg of the Youth Power series intended for the USC-CSC-PIO group is the University Student Leaders’ Camp (USLC). It was held on July 25-28 at Hacienda Gracia, Lubao, Pampanga.

The four-day affair was jam-packed with an array of activities including a couch discussion the topic of which was how the youth can make a difference, a talk on financial stewardship, challenges by choice, and cultural presentations during which the CBA-CSC made their first performance of the song “What I’ve Been Looking For.”
