STUDENT LEADERS’ CONGRESS RE-LAUNCHED INTO BEING COUNCIL OF ORGANIZATIONS

On July 11, the CSC held their pilot event, the Re-launch of the Council of Organizations with a Seminar on Responsible Officership and Professional Work Habits.

The Council of Organizations is the alliance of all mandated and non-mandated CBA organizations, the aim of which is to promote progress not only for each organization but for CBA as a whole. It was formerly known as the Student Leaders’ Congress, inaugurated last June 29, 2007, in the leadership of the former CSC officers.

During the ceremony, the CSC presented their activities and projects for the year. To make the activity more meaningful, a seminar, the title of which is mentioned above, was integrated with Professor Chere’ C. Yturralde, College Committee Chair for Research, who was also a student leader during her college days, as speaker.

CBA-CSC CO-HOSTS WELCOME FRESHMEN 2008

The annual Welcome Ceremonies for College Freshmen was held on June 27 at the AUF Covered Court. This was a project of the Office of Student Affairs and Financial Aid, in cooperation with the USC and the eight CSCs.

CBA’s very own CSC President emceed the ceremonies. CSC Secretary Jula V. Ong took charge of the technical crew. The rest of the CSC officers were assigned to different areas of the program and in the supervision of the students.
